Audrey Steinle, M.A. LPC-Supervisor offers Professional Counseling services, supervision services, psychoeducation classes and speaking engagements in Christian equipping ministries and Conferences. She often provides therapy to women and families dealing with a variety of concerns. Clients repeatedly describe her as having an active approach by first meeting them where they are. Although she is highly experienced and educated, she does not act as an expert on your life, rather facilitates a road to self-discovery, autonomy, and empowerment to make a deep and lasting change. Audrey's style is active and full of practical tools tailored to challenge each client to grow into the quality of life they want. The approach you will find is one that searches to leverage strengths across the whole person including physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and relational abilities. Holistic care is imperative to assessment and treatment planning in Audrey's style of counseling.
Audrey opened her practice in 2011 to serve the north DFW area including Richardson, Plano, Highland Village, Flower Mound, Denton area. Prior to this she had a full and active counseling practice for over 5 years with Dr. Paul Meier at Meier Clinic in Richardson, Texas (formerly known as Minirth-Meier clinic). This well known and renowned clinic was one of the first to implement traditional psychology and psychiatry with a foundation of Christian principles. Audrey is trained in Christian Counseling through Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and hold two Masters Degrees ( MA in Marriage and Family Counseling as well as MA in Christian Education) and is skilled in addressing spiritual wounds and healing from a Biblical worldview. Biblical Counseling along with many other useful modalities are intertwined in her approach to holistic care including CBT, DBT, IFS, EFT and Gottman research for marriages and adults.
Currently, Audrey offers services in-person and/or online through video conferencing and is an out of network provider. Below is a list of issues that Audrey has experience walking alongside, however, her primary population is with adults (age 21 and up) and marriages. Audrey is also a licensed supervisor for LPC-Interns in the state of Texas. Contact her if you are interested in supervision and/or providing clinical services through SCS as a paid intern or would like to utilize the SCS Financial Assistance Program to help cover costs of your supervision. Interning at SCS is more like being involved in a professional development and training environment that is active, engaging and includes live/video supervision which is considered the gold-standard in intern development. SCS Supervision is more than simply paying for weekly supervision that can often feel disconnected from your clinical application. Contact Audrey to see if she is the right supervisor for you.
